As the national professional organization, PAOT oversees the enforcement of the Occupational Therapy Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. PAOT may enforce probation and denial of membership, whereas as the Professional Regulation Commission may suspend or revoke the Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card.
