To our valued colleagues and dedicated members of the Philippine Academy of Occupational Therapists, Inc. (PAOT).

We are writing to share an important update regarding our administrative services. As part of our ongoing commitment to professional excellence and organizational growth, the PAOT Board is currently undertaking a comprehensive review and refinement of our membership process.
To ensure these improvements are implemented effectively, we have decided to temporarily pause the processing of all new membership applications and renewals, effective immediately.

Why is this happening now?As the landscape of occupational therapy in the Philippines continues to expand, PAOT is dedicated to ensuring our internal systems are robust, transparent, and user-friendly.
We are refining our workflows to:
  • Streamline Verification: Ensure faster processing times once we resume.
  • Enhance Data Security: Update our systems to better protect your professional information.
  • Improve Member Benefits: Re-align our membership tiers and perks to better serve OTs across the archipelago.
What does this mean for you?
  • Existing Active Members: Your current membership status remains fully valid. You will continue to have access to all PAOT resources, discounts on continuing education, and official representation.
  • Pending Applications: If you have recently submitted an application or payment, please bear with us. Our team is cataloging all submissions, and they will be processed as a priority once the new system is live.
  • Expiring Memberships: If your membership is due for renewal during this pause, a grace period will be applied. You will not lose your "Good Standing" status while our systems are offline.
Timeline and Next StepsOur team is working diligently to complete this review. We anticipate that membership services will resume  at the soonest possible time.

A Note on CPD and PRC:
We understand that membership is often a requirement for various professional milestones. We are working to ensure this brief pause does not adversely affect your professional standing or PRC requirements.

We appreciate your patience and continued support as we work to build a stronger, more efficient PAOT for every Filipino Occupational Therapist.
